Health and Safety
High Tech High schools will continue following the CDC guidance for COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses.
Specific guidance relating to COVID is as follows: for anyone who has tested positive for COVID, they can return to regular activity (like school/work) as long as BOTH of these things are true:
1. Their symptoms are getting better
2. They have been fever free without fever reducing medication for 24 hours
3. Per CAL OSHA, staff must wear a mask for 10 days following a positive test while at work around others.

Mandated Reporter Training
Anti-Harassment and Abusive Conduct Training (every two years)
Title IX Training
Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Training
Active Armed Assailant and Emergency Response Training (ALICE)
Additionally, for Certificated Staff
First Aid, CPR, and AED Training (every two years)
LGBTQ+ Student Support Training (PRISM - coming 2025-26 school year)
